I have cold feet. Sometimes they get so cold they hurt, and that is with socks on.  If I go to bed with cold feet, I cannot fall asleep without socks on, yet I really don’t like socks.  After 12 1/2 years hubby doesn’t really like my cold feet either, although nice guy that he is, he indulges me in letting me warm them on him.  I have found a solution to my cold feet, even though this solution has been around for years and years.  I have a sack of lavender, the kind that you warm up in the microwave and put on achy muscles.  I  heat it up and put it in the bed with me. It is soft and pliable and I don’t have to wear socks.  It stays warm longer than a hot water bottle (which I have never owned in all my life) and it is much softer than a brick or stone.  If you don’t have one of these sacks, you can easily make one by sewing a sack of any shape or size (mine is a long tube) and filling with either lavender buds, flax seed, wheat berries or rice.
