We do not own a good camera at all. All of my pictures have come from disposable cameras…..

So, the reason why I don’t post pics on my blog is not because I don’t know how, I just lack the apparatus to take pics!!

I like pictures on people’s blogs and wish I could post pictures with my posts. It’s more interesting that way.

I agree with the “Why do I need 40 pictures of a daisy” thing. but I think those gals are practicing w/ their lenses and such.

I used to use Flickr exclusively, but I have a new computer and it has a new Windows Photo Gallery and it’s super easy and you can even edit the photos a bit in it. So I just upload directly to blogger without needing the Flickr middleman thing.

AND….can’t you look back at random weird pictures and just about sigh with relief that you HAVE a picture of Uncle so n so holding a baby, or see your oldest without her front teeth. Things like that are commonplace to us at the time, but just add a few years and those pictures are gold to me.

(on my blog I have an all time favorite picture of my daughter who is now 11, when she was around 7. She has on a pink shirt and there is grass behind her. The picture is nothing to brag about, but her look and her hairstyle and the moment was captured forever. And my camera was a cheesy point and shoot kind. Nothing fancy. )

I don’t want to miss something similar now…ya know? Cause when I took THAT picture, she was just sitting there looking at me, asking when the soccer game was going to be over, and I made her laugh.

I’m heading over to your other site to check out the horse & rider I was just talking w/ a friend yesterday — discussing how many kids just want to be entertained & don’t even really know how to play. Doesn’t sound like that’s a problem at your end! Happy 4th!

I’m with you! I could stay up until 3am, no problem. BUT I do so much better when I get up at 6am– SO much done and I’m in a chipper mood when the kids wake up. *sigh* Too bad David does not like me to set my alarm when he’s home. But I think I might try setting the alarm on my cell phone (set it to vibrate) to wake me up…

Happy Anniversary! We celebrated 12 years this past Sunday. We weren’t together the whole day, but it was our anniversary nonetheless!

And I don’t need Classic Academy to translate the riding horse bikes/mucking the porch thing….I have girls too!! LOL!
