I am happily married for almost 12 years, and a mom of three daughters. I homeschool our girls and plan to through highschool. I love to craft. I dabble in knitting and crocheting, but really love jewelry making. I love all things tea. I love my Lord and Savior.
Things I love

You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me. C. S. LewisWhat I’m Writing
This is the place where I will talk about my life as a stay at home mom, and a believer in Christ. I will share things that will hopefully bless others and ask for help in areas that I need help in. Some days I may just ramble on and on, other days I might have something profound to say. On occasion I might be funny. While I love to laugh I don't necessarily have the gift of writing funny things. I will never profess to be perfect. I am a work in progress. Through this blog I hope to encourage and be encouraged. Please leave a comment and say hi, but please be nice.Great Products

hello again Susan, I remember you and was trying to find your email to send you a response about courtyards…but couldn’t… my email is maricel@comcast.net if you want to connect..have been following your blog and of course it’s always fun to hear about another mother of daughters and also a homeschooling mama.
Dear Homeschooling Parent,
My name is Nicholas Beatty and I work for a company called Goops Unlimited. We are a children’s publishing company specializing in books about character education, specifically manners and polite behavior. Our books were originally published in 1900 and offer families a wonderful way to enter into discussions about manners and polite behavior.
Barbara Ross, the 67-year-old founder of Goops Unlimited is on a crusade to bring manners and polite behavior back to the forefront of national concern. In these uncertain times, wholesome character education is seemingly falling by the wayside. It is our belief that families that read, learn and pray together create an environment fostering healthy and happy children.
Please take a moment to look at our website, http://www.TheGoops.com. Barbara and I are always looking for ways to spread the news about Goops. We feel they are highly suited toward a homeschooling and Christian audience. If you have friends of family that would appreciate our whimsical and family friendly books, please spread the word.
Thank you for your time,
Nicholas Beatty

P.S. We are always interested in having our books reviewed on blogs by homeschooling moms and dads. If you would like a free pdf of our most recent book, we would gladly get one to you. Thanks again!
First time browsing your blog….I found you via Ali…she just did my blog for me….
I too am a Northwest transplant from California…would never want to live there again…..although when we hace days and days of rain, I wonder.
I am a Christian…if you get a chance go read my Sept 30th post…it is my testimony.
I am pro-homeschooling, wish that I had done it…
Anyways..I love comments as most do…and that is why I wrote you…you have a lovely family…

Hey Susan…
I just wanted to get a hold of you again… I have a baby due the beginning of March and I would still love to have a mother’s bracelet. Please get in touch with me. There’s no rush… I hope you’re still making things. I just know how talented you are and would make something beautiful.
