Yesterday was Princess’ 10th birthday. I cannot believe she is in double digits already. It seems like yesterday that she was learning to walk. Now she is swimming 50 yards and has an excellent breast stroke. We celebrated with three of her friends and her sisters. They spent the evening at the spa, in our office ,and then slept on the floor in the living room. Their spa treatments included a foot soak/scrub/lotion, nail soak/buff/file, hand scrub and then a face mask with smashed bananas and honey and cucumbers on the eyes. Food consisted of pizza, chocolate strawberries, pretzel/goldfish mix, cupcakes and popcorn. They had so much fun. This morning when they woke up we started with waffles, fruit smoothies, a hair session, yoga and then play outside before the kids had to go home. It was quite a success. I didn’t do a special cake this year. She wanted cupcakes, so I tried to make them as pretty as possible. Unfortunately I didn’t take a great picture of them. Now to get ready for party number two on Tuesday!

Looks like it was a wonderful time. We need to have a mommies spa party! Happy birthday to your girls!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!!!
Wow, she looks so much like you! And the party sounds like a ton of fun!
Quite the contrast from what we’ll be doing for Dash’s 8th birthday next week– visiting the Animal Grossology exhibit at NASA.
Is your spa taking reservations? ’cause sign me up! I need a manicure.
and the picture with the pedicure goings on….loved it. I actually thought about servanthood and how to wash anothers feet in Bible times was an act of service.
So, you really were doing a Bible lesson mixed with partying.
How fun! Looks perfect. I can’t believe she is 10, either. Time flies. xoxo
What a good mommy you are. Looks like a ton of girl fun. I bet they won’t forget it.
i couldn’t see the pictures. my dial up is too slow tonight. but my daughter is about to turn 10 in a few weeks too and we are planning the same type of party, her first sleep over.
What a fun party! Cute cupcakes. My youngest is our only girl. She already (at the ripe age of 2 1/2!) loves for mommy to rub lotion on her feet and paint her little toes. Too cute.
What a wonderful Birthday! Looks positively festive and fun! God bless your next year!
ahhhhhhhh, Happy Birthday! Ten year olds are the best! I hope she has a lovely year
