We've been thinking about a labradoodle...Max is awfully cute! I'm sure your Chinese visitors have enjoyed their time here, but have probably been homesick as well. I hope your last few days with them go well.

A new dog is SUCH a big thing. Like a new member of the family. (well, one you can leave at home when you zip to the store....in a crate, haha)

I totally understand about the relief about saying goodbye to your little girls. I think it was Mark Twain who said, "Fish and company stink after 3 days." or something like that. :)

I'm glad things are going well at your house, but I know what you mean... normal, everyday is VERY nice. Like you can breathe again.

This is also why I can never be gone from home for more than a week tops. I just long for normalcy, routine, the familiar. I have no idea how people go on month long vacations! That would drive me nuts.

Can't wait to see how Max adjusts to his new home. We're looking at getting a dog once we settle into our new place.

Have a great day, my friend!

Love,
Marsha

Max is really tempting me to get a dog. He sounds perfect. I just have to keep reminding myself, "You kill pets, Gayle" and then I'll remember that dogs are no good for us.

I have a friend who has houseguests from Sweden for a whole month. I just can't imagine how someone does that. A weekend is about all I think I could handle. I think it would just about kill me to be on good behavior for that long.

Susan,
Well hosting international children sounds like adopting -
get to know them, they start growing on us, then after awhile it's time to set them straight lol!
So Max is coming to the narrows! How exciting! Of course he is just perfect huggable goodness with paws! And he won't try to pick up the cat with his legs, now will he? nah! likely the cat will snub him first!
